OUR PURPOSE

Resonance Center for Women

Since 1977, Resonance has empowered women to rebuild their lives with hope and purpose. Founded by Eleanor Hill as a listening center, it has grown to support Oklahoma women impacted by the criminal justice system.

Resonance provides gender-specific outpatient substance use treatment, offering alternatives to incarceration so women can remain employed and with their families.

Inside Oklahoma correctional facilities, it delivers addiction recovery, relapse prevention, and reentry programs. After release, Resonance helps with job readiness, housing, transportation, addiction treatment, and case management. Women can live and work at Take 2: A Resonance Café or transitional homes like Elwood and Kirtley House, gaining the skills and stability needed for self-sufficiency.
